Angarrack, Hayle, December 1936 - The Sullivans
Our Grand mother Rosina Maude Sullivan (standing centre of the road) flanked by her twelve children left to right: Stanley,Pearl,Garfield,Tommy,Thalma,Beryl,Bertha,Bobby,ROSINA MAUDE,Teresa,Rose, Dorothy and June.
In their home village Angarrack Hayle 1936. The coronation of King George VI .Flags and bunting of course.
My mother Beryl standing to her left one of the twins.
The whole family lived in a two up and two down cottage behind the cottages in pub car park.
In the early 1930s Stanhope-Forbes used Angarrack bridge and stream with some of the Sullivan children sat on the riverbank has subjects for his paintings.http://www.100firstworldwarstories.co.uk/Stanhope-Forbes/story/
